H.R.D was set-up post first world war by Howard Raymond Davies, and purchased by Philip Conrad Vincent in 1928.
 
HRD’s good reputation and motorsport success, fused with Vincent’s patented “Vincent cantilever suspension” system led to great success and formidable speed machines, becoming the Vincent HRD we know and love nearly 100 years later.
 
Their infamous motif comes from a time when there was no ‘digital’, only the honesty of analogue. The hand drawn purity of the Vincent H.R.D motif has been kick started as sympathetically as possible, trying to preserve the purity and honesty of the hand-painted tank art of their formidable machines.
